Port Harcourt finest and most talented singer, songwriter, music producer and sound engineer, Earl Shun has announced the release of his debut album, ILLUME.
The announcement was made via his social media accounts.
In his post he said:
"Greetings!
My name is Earl Shun,
I'm from Southern Nigeria, Rivers State,
And a proud Son of Ogoni Kingdom.
I'm a Nigerian based music Artist and a commercial Record Producer.
I want to use this opportunity to announce to the world that I'm working on my first official Album Project.
The Album is titled: ILLUME
The "Illume Album Project will be available for download and streaming by August 2020.
The word Illume, literally means; To shine.
I will say that, singing only songs that's directed to worshipping and Praising God in Churches Year in Year out, and also singing about indecent matters, which we've seen displayed by some musicians we tag as "Secular Artists", honestly, has not in anyway helped the world.
As a talented Artist, we should touch lives with our creative lyrical contents. We shouldn't forcefully try to change the many ills in the world today by only posting about it on social media, or isolate ourselves as we complain bitterly about the Government, WE ARE MOUTH PIECES AND AMPLIFIERS, AND ALSO WATCH GUARDS in the world.
It will be so disappointing that on our dying day, we'll look inwardly only to see the many things we would have done but couldn't do with our gifts.
ILLUME and shine your light, don't let religion, culture and tradition shut your down.
It is possible to die fulfilled and feeling you've truly exhausted/utilized your endowed potentials to the fullest.
